Program overview
The Enterprise Business Services Generalist Program offers you a unique insight into the whole enterprise together with an opportunity to explore a number of diverse roles. Enterprise Business Services provide services on behalf of, and to, the broader Bank, including Business and Commercial Banking (BCB), Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) and BT Financial Group (BT). By working and engaging with business stakeholders across the organisation, you will develop an exceptional understanding of the whole Bank. This will allow you to discover the business area or activity to which you are best suited and will present a range of job opportunities across the enterprise upon completion of your rotational program.
The Enterprise Business Services Generalist Program is an 18 month rotational program which will give you the opportunity to experience at least three different areas of Enterprise Business Services, part of Business and Technology Services and Solutions (BTSS). Your rotations can be spent in areas such as Sourcing, Risk or Financial Crime Control. The program also allows you to undertake a secondment to another business unit, such as Business or Commercial Banking, in order to gain a better understanding of how the broader Bank operates.
Each rotation will be quite different to the last and you'll have a high degree of flexibility around the areas you rotate across. Therefore there's ample opportunity to discover the business area or activity to which you are best suited. This is an ideal program for those of you who would like the opportunity to try out different areas before deciding where you'd like to start your career. The broad experience you get as part of this program provides you with a number of options when you move into a permanent role after 18 months.
